This review is from: Changhong 49" Class 1080p LED HDTV - LED49YD1100UA
Pros: Roku Ready
2 HDMI, 1 combo HDMI/MHL port
Excellent Picture & digital sound output
A LOT cheaper than others
Very attractive base
Cons: Like all 120Hz 1080P TVs faces have the soap opera effect. You can adjust the color some to minimize and learn to live with the rest. 120Hz is definitely worth it for watching sports.
Other Thoughts: This TV absolutely positively has an MHL port (which is tangibly different than the other HDMI ports, contrary to other reviews), and it is absolutely positively Roku Ready. You need to buy the Roku Ready version of the Roku Streaming stick, NOT THE HDMI version, to to fully take advantage of this feature (e.g., be able to run just off the stick with no power supply wires etc). I got my stick from wally world online $52 not fleabay (where it often goes for more). Once you plug in the stick and get it configured for your wifi & account you are ready to go. I have a Roku 3 on another TV so I just added it to my account and see the same private channels. I actually prefer the stick over the 3 for aesthetics as there is no power cable or other wires running to it, it's completely hidden behind the TV. IMHO, this makes the TV Smarter than all the ones with internet built in (which you are stuck with forever). Also watch out for other brands which also claim to be roku ready and come with the stick. Some of those have the stick BUILT-IN and you can never remove it. I like having all smart features on a small plug-in stick that I can replace over the years. Actually got this TV for 199 while on sale with visa checkout discount. Hard to believe that in 1982 a 26" Sony Console used to cost over 1K in 1982 dollars (over $2410 relative value in today's $) and I got this great TV for the 1982 equivalent of $82.40 !READ FULL REVIEW
