Windows 8.1 64-bit

1 out of 5 eggs Worst ever, just stick with 7 03/09/2014

This review is from: Windows 8.1 64-bit

Pros: Compared to what???

Cons: Just about everything is registered in one way or another. Does not support all web pages? Internet explorer problems? Ridiculous! Does whatever it wants at times. Too many hoops to jump through for experienced users...

Other Thoughts: 8.1 is so good Microsoft is heading back to windows 7!!!This belongs on touch screens, tablets or in the trash, not on a PC. Never mind, it belongs in the trash...

TP-LINK TL-WR720N Wireless N150 Router, 150Mbps, Internal Antenna, IP QoS
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: It works...How can one complain at this price...

Cons: Limited range but really no cons for how little it cost...

Other Thoughts: This is far from the fastest or highest quality router but for under 20 bucks what can you expect. Hey, it works for less than the cost of a Friday night at the bar...

Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD3000HLHX 300GB 10000 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Drive is worth the price when on sale! That price would be around a hundred bucks. Have two, neither has failed yet in almost a year of everyday use.

Cons: A little loud at times but no real cons, at least none at the time of this review...

Other Thoughts: Using sata III ports, crystal mark puts both drives around 130's read and 80's write. Not bad at all. Seems snappy when viewing or working with large picture files.
