very impressed!!

Crucial M4 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT064M4SSD2
Crucial M4 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT064M4SSD2

Pros: after a few follies installing this on old motherboard Asus p5q pro turbo). I got it up and running and was surprised at the difference this makes compared to spin drives. Games like Arma 2 CO run very smooth even at low FPS....sometimes around 16fps with alot of AI. And all other apps run much much more quickly. My boot time is around 15 seconds with 39 processes running on startup.

Cons: none.... so far

Overall Review: Be fore warned your not going to get 500+MB/s on a sata 2 system. I am getting 280 MB/s Read and 114 MB/s Write. The max for Sata 2 is around 300 MB/s. Avoid Benching alot because it really wears on ssd because of the writes it does while you run them. Crusial is the best at least in my opinion because it has proven to be so much more reliable than the other brands have. And that's a major contributing reason for purchasing this brand over some others even though there are some better deals as far as storage space goes. Weigh your options; Economic Eye Candy or Reliability. This is my second Crucial 64gb ssd and both run very well with no issues what so ever. Hope this helps you on making a choice and thanks for reading

nice upgrade!!

Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT128M4SSD2
Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT128M4SSD2

Pros: comes with latest firmware 000F windows 7 boots in 15 seconds decent amount of space for os and few games and various programs scores 7.8 in WEI (and it's a Sata 2 system) never have to wait on my pc..it waits on me now!

Cons: none

Overall Review: with this ssd i get...CrystalDiskMark Seq. read: 280.3 write: 194.2 512K read: 258.5 write: 193.6 4K read: 28.71 write: 88.68 QD32 read: 194.3 write: 172.3 Getting higher write speeds than specs. say and that's a good thing. Crucial did a great job with the firmware update, they ironed out previous issues perfectly. this runs games like arma 2 co with awesome performance (average 45fps). all around best investment as well as upgrade even with and older system like mine Asus P5Q Pro Turbo Q9650 @4.14ghz 8gigs G Skill PI Series ddr2 1066 @ 1100mhz Evga GTX 460 SSC @stock Good discounts on this brand often this is my third ssd from crucial Get it and enjoy!!

performance depends!!

EVGA 01G-P3-1561-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA 01G-P3-1561-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: runs cool like the old gtx 460 not a very large card. can fit in many different cases. provided the buyer gets measurements of case to make sure it will fit not loud at all in comparison to other cards i have owned even with demanding games like Arma 2 performance is fine depending on any other bottlenecks a owner may have in their system overclocks as good as to be expected around 50mhz gain in msi afterburner or other oc software

Cons: i have a evga gtx 460 ssc+ that performs about the same in arma 2 as far as framerates go. this isn't really a con so to speak, because the pc is a socket 775. and considering arma 2 is a very taxing game on any system no matter how much is spent on it.

Overall Review: this is a mid priced to performance graphics card and is a great choice if your on a budget. if a person owns a higher end system than i do then this card isn't the one to get because you'll find yourself wanting more! honestly expected more performance out of this card, but not enough to warrant docking eggs over. Evga has a step-up program that can help achieve a higher end card for very taxing games, but lol 90 days wasn't long enough for me. just a word of advice from my experience if you have a higher end system but are strapped for cash but not willing to wait to get enough funds to acquire a faster card. you'll be wanting and/or needing faster. if you want faster use that step-up program before it expires to obtain better card. hope this helps ya

Runs at 1100mhz !!!

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B

Pros: This ram will do 1100mhz at stock voltage. Running 8 gigs of this and getting 58.4ns latency. Heat speaders work well Great ram for Asus boards can do 1150mhz with proper cooling and voltages in bios

Cons: none

Overall Review: Running 8 gigabytes of these @ 1100mhz (2.1v) on.. Asus P5q Pro Turbo w/ q9650 @ 4.14ghz Good cooling is a must with this ram when overclocking .. Mr. Josh set your timing to manual and manually set each timings (1st, 2nd & 3rd information) listed above from where you select your timing and match those numbers listed and you'll be able to get 1100mhz. there are other factors involved too, NB voltage...ect. Hope this helps

great case fans

Scythe Kama FLEX PWM 120 SA1225FDB12H-P Case Fan
Scythe Kama FLEX PWM 120 SA1225FDB12H-P Case Fan

Pros: provides plenty of air through my Rosewill Wind Knight pwn controlled although i use the molex connectors to prevent overloading the motherboard. very quiet at 1500rpm

Cons: none

Overall Review: helps with overclocking my cpu and keeps it cool in case. i have one in front and one in the rear. using Thermaltake Frio. push pull configuration and fans that come with Frio are set at 1600rpm. i have learned if you even out the rpm with all your fans it provides continuous and cool air flow with no heat blowing inside the case. i have [email protected] and idl@34c and load at 67c when i run intel burn test.

best socket 775 cpu on the market!

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 - Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Quad-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 95W Desktop Processor - BX80569Q9650
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 - Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Quad-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 95W Desktop Processor - BX80569Q9650

Pros: easy to overclock with the right board plenty fast enough for modern games and apps eo stepping is automatic with this cpu responds well with lower voltages when overclocking

Cons: memory and motherboards are so hard to find for this cpu if you want to overclock high. mobo manufacturers should build better boeards for this cpu since intel keeps making them(or many are still in backstock). all the memory built for this chip and others like it are getting more and more rare and pricy.at least they could make boards with ddr3(16gb max) like the ud3p(ddr2 platform).
