Great Gaming Keyboard
Pros: Nice solid keyboard, hybrid mechanical keys feel right, and most of the keys are spaced and located at a nice layout. The ARX Dock is plastic, but feels solid, and the cutout allows me to push the home, back, and recent buttons on my Android tablet i place in there. LED are uniform, and with the Logitech software allows custom lighting. and with a key button on the keyboard that one allows to turn off LED, and another allows the windows key to be deactivated. Also, Logitech Software automatically loads LED programs for select games, which allows LED effects for timers (keyboard lights flash), damage taken ( lights with flash red), low health (slow breathing of red). I have to say, well worth the money, save for the few cons that i listed below, i would definitely recommend this purchase.
Cons: Wish the keyboard had a USB through port, mainly even if just for charging phones or tablets that are placed in the ARX dock holder. G-Keys are odd with the separation of G6-G9 (up on top) from the first five (off to the left side), not truly a con, just sometimes bugs my need for grouping. Palm rest is an odd design, does have the rest for a right hand, but not so much for a left hand, which this con does also tie in with that though this Keyboard is great for gaming, i find it difficult to use this for prolonged typing. Where as the keys and layout feel nice for regular ASDW playing, attempting to type seems to make my right hand feel like its falling off. Also making mention that the palm rest isn't completely removable. The covers are interchangeable, having a shorter and longer palm rest for the left hand, there remains a bracket underneath that supports either cover. Logitech Gaming software does require some learning and practice, found that using the search for games function does not seem to locate local installed games, but rather all games that Logitech has supported profiles for. Where then you have to go through and check mark to customize the profile, but its only a Con for the learning stage.
Overall Review: I recommend you do your research to decide if this is the keyboard for you, watch review videos on Youtube, read the reviews here, may also recommend picking up a mechanical key tester to see if mechanical keys are for you, and which style works best for you. I enjoy this keyboard alot, but i understand that this isnt for everyone, and alot of people complain because they didnt research this keyboard much.
Misleading title
Pros: Unknown yet, will add another review when I can finally use it
Cons: To start with, there is nothing USB about this cable, it connects the optical drive to an ESATA port only, been attempting to contact the company through email for the past week with no luck. At least newegg has offered to step in and support if they proved difficult to contact.
Overall Review: Like I said though, I will write another review when I can get an ESATA connecter to test it with, but just keep in mind there is nothing usb about this product
As a whole, this is a good product.
Pros: -not much to say other than that it works, no dead cards, no problem tuning the motherboard to the 3200 spec, and RGB all work
Cons: -not something that is really a Con, but see Other for details
Overall Review: -Now, to start with, I don't mind the cards, they work, and that's all I need them to do, but a few little problems here and there are enough to just forewarn everyone. The RGB default is a like Rainbow waterfall effect, and if you plug and play, and don't add any software, they don't really sync, and its just a blob of rainbow waterfall. Not bad thou, just its like a nagging feel every time you see it. To add onto that, gskill does have its own BETA software at the time of writing this review, sounds like it works for the most part, but IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED WITH ASUS AURA software. making sure that's known, Asus's Aura software isn't promised to work with the RGB on the sticks. Some software versions do work, but can have error popups when trying to start aura, some versions don't work. If your trying to make a full RGB build, this isn't promised to sync with everything else. Don't buy these just for the RGB.
Great performance for the price!
Pros: -Havent lost the lottery yet, just bought my second build, base clock of 4.2, turbo up to 4.5, have reached just about 5.0 overclocking while remaining stable (good water cooling is recommended though) -Would definitely recommend this over the lower i5 for little price difference.
Cons: -MAKES YOU WANT MORE. havent been able to get much over 5.0 on either of my i7's (even thou, still see the Pros)
Overall Review: -This CPU does run hot when you start overclocking it beyond the turbo speed of 4.5, so just be cautious, i have a 120 mm water cooler on my first build, can run 4.6-4.7 for a bit, temp sits around 65-75 degrees C. Definitely recommend a 280 or 360 mm water cooling for anything higher
Great for the Price
Pros: Works great as a Xbox 360 wireless controller to PC adapter. plugs into USB and after a little tweaking, works great, haven't tested range nor do i need to, usually sit within 8 ft on the receiver, and never lost signal.
Cons: The mini disc that comes with it is useless. mine was scratched and unreadable, but reading the reviews and forums, found out that its better off just downloading and installing the driver from microsoft and then going under device manager and manually installing the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Version 2.1.0.1349, then it works as intended.
Overall Review: Disc/Driver seems to be the biggest issue, but it can be fixed manually. once the right driver is installed, its work great
usb flash drive
Pros: Works nice as a portable usb flash drive
Cons: Do not buy this flash drive for the encryption. Does not support windows 7, sofware company that maked the encryption program are no longer in business according to scandisk.
Overall Review: As i said, itll work nice as a flashdrive, but the mistake i made was when i plugged into my computer and tried the encryption software, the program froze halfway through encrypting the flash drive, and since then i only have 80MB usable out of 8GB. And i cant recover the rest through anything, scandisk is sending me a different model flashdrive
