4 out of 5 eggs Entry-Level, Despite the Branding 08/15/2013

This review is from: Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset

Pros: - Decent Sound
- Detachable microphone
- Good value
- Great Skype headset

Cons: - Limited Low End
- Ear cups are a little small
- A little flimsy, to be expected at this cost

Other Thoughts: Good entry level gaming headset. I use a higher quality, reference sound Sennheiser set for anything that doesn't require the microphone, so my opinion may be a bit skewed.

Overall these are good for the price and are just the thing for casual gaming where you need voice communication (or for Skype).

The earcups are a bit small, but I haven't used these for more than an hour or so at a time, so long term comfort isn't something I can comment on.

Overall, a good entry-level buy; I'm pleased.

MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: - Stock OC is nice
- Cooler works great, keeps things cool
- Can be pushed further with Afterburner or Precision
- MSI Build quality again is just awesome
- Best Card you can get on a budget

Cons: - No SLI Bracket included
- Not 4-way SLI compatible (not that you'd want to)

Other Thoughts: Running 2 in SLI at max overclock, these beauties are AWESOME, will destroy most anything you wanna throw at it.

Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 - 850W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Silver Certification and Semi-Modular Cables
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: - Modular
- Nice understated looks
- Big Fan
- Quiet

Cons: - Gets pretty hot under load, even on bottom placement; could be my system demands (see below)

Other Thoughts: Gives me the power I need, I'm putting a lot on this; will probably upgrade in the near future.
