This review is from: ZALMAN ZM-Z9 NEO BK Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Shipped on time and undamaged. All the parts were included, it was easy to figure out where everything went and how for a first timer dealing with a case made for cable management. Came with 5 fans that are pretty quiet - it sits right on my desk next to my monitors.
Cons: 1) Front fan filter was literally tossed in as an afterthought. It lays loose in the vertical space between the front fans and the door grate, and doesn't even fit well being about 1/2 inch short on all sides. It doesn't clip to anything, flaps around and is useless as a dust filter. Whatever engineer designed that and the people who approved it need to be smacked up side the head.
2) The case included a mysterious rubber pad about 3 cm by 9cm, with strong adhesive on one side. I thought for a sec was to hold down the front filter, but no such luck. It's a mystery part that the manual doesn't include any documentation on, perhaps it's for a liquid cooler setup.
Other Thoughts: This was my first case with cable management designed into it, and I was pretty happy with it. I wanted plenty of cooling and the 5 included fans are a great deal. Since I don't OC or have bleeding edge hardware (or budget) liquid cooling was out but still available to be used in this case should things change in the future. I'm running a stock FX 8350 black 8 core with a large aftermarket sink/fan and a full size GTX 1060 6GB with factory OC (it fits fine). Both run really cool in this case, never exceeding 65c under load.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: DSI Big Font Large Print USB Yellow Key Keyboard PC Compatible
Pros: Very inexpensive, the shipping was more then the KB, and works for what it is, a cheap USB keyboard for people who have vision issues. I bought this for an 80+ year old senior who was having trouble with the hunt and peck method on other keyboards.
Cons: Does not seem to work on legacy USB ports. I had to disable them in the bios and use only 2.0/3.0 ports to get windows 7 to even recognize it as plugged in. Support brackets are flimsy and provide only a small lift. Probably not a good fit for someone who types a great deal.
Other Thoughts: For the price, it's worth the consideration if this sort of thing is what you're looking for. Worst case, you toss it and you're out the expense of a decent cheeseburger.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent 8 Core Proc for the money - I'm finally not CPU bound on Planetside 2 and there's plenty of muscle to multitask across dual-monitor work spaces.
Cons: The Fan. It sounds like the tortured wail of a thousand Siamese cats in heat. Like the bearings are just gone and it will catch fire any minute. I know stock fans are not all that great, but never expected noise to be a primary complaint.
Other Thoughts: Will be replacing with a cheap solution immediately - I don't OC so cooling isn't a big issue; I'd RMA it but the processor is working like a charm. Not sure AMD warranties their fans?READ FULL REVIEW
