Pros: None DOA

Cons: Arrived DOA....tried on 3 different PC's, did not work on any.

Other Thoughts: First time I've ever gotten bad RAM from Team. Newegg was very fast in issuing a refund.

XFX Double D Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition DirectX 11 FX797GTDFC 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Ran well while it worked

Cons: Caught fire on stock clock. Always caused my PC to shut off after a few minutes of use. Very load coil whine.

Other Thoughts: Can't say much more about this card since I only had it for a month. XFX support has been down for almost a month. Just waiting on the return RMA from them

BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85S3 FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Nice small form factor. Plenty of SATA connections. Audio is a little better than most low to mid range motherboards. Dual Graphics works great, paired it with an HD 6670. Great for a light gaming or HTPC set up. Currently using it as my everyday workstation. Works perfect at stock CPU settings and ram running at 1600mhz.

Cons: Does not like to OC at all using an A8 5600K. Used both air and liquid cpu coolers (CM hyper 212 & Corsair H60). 3.8 Ghz is the highest OC I could get that would at least let it boot. Even then, running any kind of HD video or game would cause it to crash. With or without dual graphics. CPU will not throttle back on mine, it will just crash. Cannot OC ram to 1866 without crashing unless CPU is at stock settings. VRMs/Mosfets can get extremely hot. Added heatsink to mosfets and solved most of the heat problems. However, it still didn't make a difference to overclocking.

Other Thoughts: Not being able to OC really doesn't affect my intended use for this motherboard. Will more than likey just use this an HTPC build later on.
