4 out of 5 eggs I Wish It Had Not Broken 01/07/2014

This review is from: MSI 990FXA-GD80 V2 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: It has everything I want, and some things I don't. It has plenty of ports: USB, USB 3.0, SATA, Coaxial.
The thing looks beautiful, is the perfect color, has giant, slick heat-sinks and is easy to work with in general, ergonomically speaking.
Oh, and the click BIOS is swell!

Cons: Only one: I put a graphics card in. A graphics card that, I suppose, was defective. It shorted the board (I think) and caused several of the USB ports to stop working. Not only that, but they lost power. I had to buy a dual-male-USB wire to give enough juice to power my small external drive.

Now, small problems seem to be happening every day, and I have no doubt that this one incident caused it.
Agh! How can a malfunctioning card have done this much damage?
I want my board, back.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to purchase this again, I suppose. Here's hoping this one does not explode because of a malfunctioning ram stick, eh?
