Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Black Brushed Aluminum and Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case ATX (not included) Power Supply

Pros: Case has space to place anything into you want it. The size makes the build quite easy with few places that feel like a tight spot.
All parts of the case are sturdy and made with quality.
Built in fans move plenty of air quietly.
Air filters over air intakes on the case are a nice touch. This prevents dust making it into the large internal space. Cleaning the inside of the case is far less of an occurance than what I have had with other computers.
Corsair H100i cooling kit mounts flawlessly to the top of the case.

Cons: CD-ROM drives look odd from the front becuase they are not as wide as the case. This leaves poor looking black plastic gaps next to the drives that do not match the finish of most of the front of the case.
Case do to its size causes problems with cable management. Its not that there isn't a place to put cables, it just that you need long cables to connect everything. You need to be prepared to deal with the problems caused by this extra cable routing.
If you mount one of your 2.5 hard drives behind the 3.5 hard drives, the flat serial ATA cables struggle to bend in a way the makes the cabling clean. Right angled SATA connecters are a must. All of the drive bays are removable and it would be suggested to remove any unused mounts to make room. If you are using a large amount of the internal hard drive bays, cabling will be tight.

Other Thoughts: This case is huge. If you buy this thinking otherwise, you will be disappointed.
Think about the length of any cable you will be using to make sure it is long enough.

NETGEAR ReadyNAS 104 4-Bay Network Attached Storage Diskless (RN10400)

4 out of 5 eggs Excellant Purchase 01/08/2014

This review is from: NETGEAR ReadyNAS 104 4-Bay Network Attached Storage Diskless (RN10400)

Pros: Webpage management is responsive and intuitive overall.
I have purchased another NAS box before and returned due to poor quality. Attempted a second try with this Netgear. I was not dissappointed.

Average transfer to and from NAS lands at about 40 MBs/sec on gigabit network.

Cons: A few items on the management page seemed to hang after making some changes, but after reboot of the NAS all items returned to full working order.

Other Thoughts: If you have never used a NAS before, take note that formatting the hard drives for first use takes hours (In my case 10 hours for 4 x 2TB drives).

There has been 3 firmware updates since I purchased the unit. So Netgear seems to make good effort to fix firmware problems.
