This review is from: ZALMAN Z5 Plus Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: I am actually impressed by this budget buy case. Room enough for everything, plenty of extremely quiet fans (you'd hardly know it was running if it weren't for the blue lights), and it actually looks good too.
Cons: Not a con, but I wonder just how many people still use 3.5" disk drives anymore? The adapter for one is mounted in the case, and I wanted that location for my Optical drive.
Easy enough to remove... just seems it would be better to put inside a box and let the user decide. But, I'm sure if you did somebody would complain about it.
Other Thoughts: this case was a gamble that payed off for my budget build, and I recommend it to anyone.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS P8B75-V LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Installed into case, plugged everything in, and it started up just as smoothly as you could wish for.
For the price I'd say this is a very worthy piece of hardware.
I've built numerous systems, and have used ASUS for most of them, and they have never disappointed me.
If you are building for the first time, and do not need a hyper-macho system, then this board is for you.
Cons: I would like to have seen audio connectors on the board that would allow me to connect the case front outlets. But, I can't have everything I suppose.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Gloss black fans with blue LED's inside an all black case, it all just looks so good.
These fans run quiet, and move a lot of air doing so.
Cons: Very short power cables perhaps 5-6 inches long. And 3-pin connectors. There are adapters included; to attach to the power supply cable; but that negates the advantage of having the motherboard control the fans speed.
Other Thoughts: Most motherboards are equipped with 4-pin connectors, and any fan located on the front of most every mid-tower case will need to reach farther than 6 inches to connect to a motherboard... just sayin'READ FULL REVIEW
