Pros: Very fast. Plays most everything I throw at it.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: Be sure to have good ventilation. First day home I forgot to hookup a case fan and this bad boy got hot enough to shutdown the systemREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works well enough for my purposes. Put a 1tb Seagate in there and hooked up via E-Sata.
Cons: -Don't try to stand this thing on its edge. It will fall over.
-There are no feet. Not a big problem for me but might be for some.
-The screws would fit properly when the drive was slid into position in the case. I had to slide the drive forward first, put in the screws loosely, then slide it forward and tighten them down. Not a big deal.
-The E-Sata cable I feel was on the flimsy and short side, but thats just me.
-The blue lights can be a little distracting but I keep this thing in a closet so its not a big issue
All these cons together equal -1 egg.
Other Thoughts: For an external enclosure This suits my purposes. I had little rubber stick on feet that I put on the bottom to stop it from sliding around. My only disappoint really is that it doesn't come with a vertical stand but I knew this when I bought it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cas Latency 7
Memtest shows no errors
Its ddr 3
Cons: It doesn't have those cool ram sinks that G.Skill ram usually does
Other Thoughts: I run these on a pfsense box for a home network and while 4 gigs is certainly overkill for that I like to think that I'll be able to repurpose the box laterREAD FULL REVIEW
