5 out of 5 eggs Functionality Perfected 09/21/2014

This review is from: Func FUNC-KB-460-US-BL KB-460 Mechanical Keyboard with Blue Cherry MX Switches

Pros: This is a good keyboard. With so many manufacturers producing using Cherry switches and so many options within the Cherry line, a product must have more thought and design put into it to stand out. This keyboard is one of those products. It is well built and very sturdy. Its rubber feet and weight hold it sturdily in place while its soft touch rubber makes it a joy to use.

Cons: I would have liked color changing LEDs, but for the non-picky and people who want red it won't matter.

The biggest con for me is the distance of the Fn key from the media key. I came from a board with dedicated media keys, so having to use two hands to change my volume is a bit of a draw back. Unfortunately, I am a big shortcut user so swapping it with the Windows key (would have to use SharpKeys as the the driver doesn't support this) wouldn't help.

Other Thoughts: With color changing LEDs and media keys above the num-pad, this would be the perfect keyboard. I am perfectly happy to use an almost perfect keyboard.
