Cooler Master NotePal X3 - Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad with 200 mm Blue LED Fan
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Great cooling, great control over fan speed and lights

Cons: You can't see the light at all. I could finally see a glimmer if i closed the laptop lid to switch to an external monitor and turned that off.... even with the laptop screen at it's lowest setting, you can't see the LED light. Disappointing, as I spent a bit more to get a cooler with the blue led

running cables underneath is more limited than I was expecting

Other Thoughts: really wish the power connected from the back, or both sides were an option, but that is just the problem with my layout

G.SKILL 32GB microSDHC Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Model FF-TSDG32GA-C6
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: decent price at the time
g skill name and prestige

Cons: had it about a 2 months. switched it from a continuum to a S4 and after a couple weeks it randomly started acting like i was taking it in and out and then just stopped working

Other Thoughts: Has lifetime warranty but for how cheap I got it, didnt seem worth the effort, especially since an Adata went on sale about that time for like $5. so just bought a new one

I prolly just got a dud

HT | OMEGA CLARO II 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: 7.1! awesome, once you get used to the UI, changing stuff is relatively simple, allows for testing of individual, no lag off video

Cons: only 5.1 through Optical, not a big problem for me because that is my setup
UI takes some time to get used to, however switching via the win7 sound menu is still easier once you have the fine tunes down
