Pros: Fast Shielded (chips aren't exposed) Decent Price
Cons: None
Good, but weird design decisions.
Pros: Decent Price Stable (So Far)
Cons: No labels on the board for front panel pinout (you'll need the manual). Boot Screen Flies by before you can even read the keyboard shortcuts. The timer on the RAID option-rom is also extremely short. I had to reboot several times before I could hit the keys in time. (Hint, you have to wait until the screen appears before hitting either button.) The custom boot drive override is actually hidden in the BIOS as well, which is not normal. Casual users won't care, but these little tidbits are a step back in usability for power users compared to the 5 or so other AMD motherboards I've used from this generation.
Overall Review: Worked fine as a swap in for my old AMD board from Biostar. Had to reboot a couple times before XP would install my USB mouse and Keyboard, but all the other drivers auto-installed fine once I had that back.
DVI-D is lame
Pros: Works fine for one monitor on newer motherboards.
Cons: Doesn't work on some motherboards because it's PCI-e 3 only. I didn't notice that this was DVI-D only. For those who aren't aware, this cripples the ability to use two VGA monitors without an expensive adapter. ASUS seems to be the only on doing this and its a lame move that trades profit for functionality. The stupid bundled game package also cripples my exchange ability, because it reduces my refund to half the cost of the card. I will be more skeptical and investigative in the future, and unlikely to go with ASUS for a GPU again.
