Pros: - Great looking monitor with very even brightness
- Light weight but stable
- No dead pixels
Cons: - I got this monitor for the pivot feature but it does not rotate the screen automatically
- The height adjustment is not great
- The touch buttons cannot be seen or felt in the dark
Pros: - Small form factor
- Fits dual slot PCI-E video cards
- Easy installation of CPU and memory
Cons: - Difficult to install large video cards
- Difficult to install a 2.5" SSD hard drive
- Noisy 60mm fans at upper rear vents
- Front finish is not very good looking
Other Thoughts: Installation: The RAM and the CPU went in very easily. One of the screws on the CPU socket was hard to reach but manageable. It was almost impossible to fit the graphics card into the outer PCI-E slot and it is impossible to fit it into the inner slot since the cooler bumps into the power supply and cables. The hard drive brackets cannot hold a 2.5" hard drive and even with an adapter bracket, it was hard to fit the tray and cables.
Performance: Works great, very stable. I am disappointed with the dual 60mm fans on the rear vents. They are very noisy. The power supply fan is a little noisy also.
Comparison: The SG33G5 is nicer looking, smaller and easier to install and quieter. However, it does not fit a dual slot or a large cooler PCI-E card at all. I would recommend that case for smaller video cards.
My machine has:
- Intel Core 2 Duo
- 2 DDR2 sticks of RAM
- 1 3.5" hard drive, 1 2.5" SSD hard drive
- Powercolor ATI 4850 card with large cooler
This review is from: G.SKILL 2.5" 32GB SATA II SLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) FS-25S2-32GB
Pros: - No noise
- Low power consumption and low heat dissipation
- Moderately fast
Cons: - Difficult to install in some 3.5" drive bays - you may need a 2.5" to 3.5" drive bay adapter.
Other Thoughts: I run a Windows Vista box. This is not large enough as a primary partition for Vista and all my applications (need 64GB). I've currently placed my OS and most common applications on this drive. My games and data are on a 640GB magnetic hard disk. This drive is great for your swap file, frequently used applications like your browser and some user data.READ FULL REVIEW
