This review is from: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Memory for Apple Model CMSA8GX3M2A1333C9
Pros: Works, inexpensive, faster boot, faster shutdown, loads images quicker, less lag when working with multiple windows. (Standard RAM upgrade benefits)
Cons: Some people are foolish and pay 3 times the price to have a "Mac Genius" do this for them.
Other Thoughts: Worked on the wifes Macbook Pro, straight out of the box.
Removed back cover of mac, pulled old ram, installed new ram.
Did a test boot prior to reinstalling cover. 8GB now detected.
Reinstalled back cover, drank a coffee.
Novices, and even a Mac owner should be able to handle this upgrade. All you need is a small phillips screw driver and to make sure your Mac actually runs DDR3.
And if you need more help just check online for "Mac RAM upgrade" videos.
This review is from: GARMIN 4.3" GPS Navigation with Lifetime Map Updates
Pros: Free Map Updates
Cons: Same old software from years ago.
The routing system commonly fails to calculate and map the most expedient route. Which is its basic function...
Other Thoughts: Garmin software is tired, the Google Navigation on my phone is more concise and reliable.
Garmin is destined to fail if they don't get innovative in a hurry.
So do buy this if you need a cheap GPS system and have extra time on your hands. Don't buy it if you have a smart phone with GPS.
This review is from: Sennheiser CX 475 3.5mm Connector In-Ear Noise Blocking Headphone
Pros: Decent sound, good build quality, good cord length, multiple bud covers.
Other Thoughts: I got these on sale for $20, which is a little cheaper than most other places.
They are a very good replacement for MP3 players cheap ear buds, or your phone.
If you want cheap, comfortable, good sounding ear buds for cheap, this would be a wise selection.
