This review is from: ASUS P9D-E/4L ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1150 DDR3 1600/1333
Pros: This has been the backbone to a server that has been running several VMs 24/7 as a primary server for a small office for over 2 years. I am very pleased with the reliability and performance it has provided.
Cons: 32GB memory cap
(likely not an issue for everyone and fair considering the price of the MB)
Other Thoughts: Unexpected changes in environment require more memory and the 32GB max created the need to buy a new Server MB to support 64GB and up. This isn't the boards fault. This is still an excellent product.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Picture is fine
No Dead Pixels!
Cons: Speakers work ok but quality is nothing great and not very loud.
Not 1080p - not that this is a supprise but still a con
Other Thoughts: I'm a big ASUS fan and while this product is ok it is ONLY "ok".
Nothing special, but nothing worng with it either.
I feel like it should be cheaper though. ($89-119 range)
This review is from: ZALMAN MS800 Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: This is a TOP Notch product for this price bracket of computer cases.
Plenty of room.
USB 3.0 Connector cable for Front USB 3.0 Ports
Built like a tank - heavy NOT CHEAP thin case frame/sides
Interesting cooling rail inside (worked ok with the supplied 80mm fan)
Functional tool-less design works good enough
Cons: Mildly disappointed with the HDD mounting system.
Everything fit in fine but if you use a mecahnical HDD not a SSD the metal on metal mounting will cause A LOT of vibration noise. Luckily I had an old set of drive vibration dampeners.
Other Thoughts: There was a $30 rebate for this case at time of purchase which put this in a catagory of "you can't possibly buy better for this price range".
Cable management was clean and everything went smoothly.
Side note the Mechanical drive was a WD black 1TB.
I had a Intel Cherryville for the main boot drive.
Overall for the money this was at the time of purchase an impossible to beat deal.
It exceeded my expectations for quality at this price range.
