AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Price

Cons: Temperature runs hot

Other Thoughts: Not a lot you can say other than you get bang for you buck here. 4 GHz from 8 cores coming from this monster and it takes my workload wonderfully. Absolutely no lag at all from anything I've noticed. No real need to go higher for a while if on a home setup. However, it does run hot for me, around 50 when I'm gaming but idles around 25 to 30ish on stock cooler. Might want to invest in a better quality cooling system to keep it running longer. Overall, great item and well worth the price.

Logitech Wireless Combo MK270 920-004536 Black 8 Function Keys USB 2.0 RF Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard & Mouse
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Price
Full Keyboard
Number pad
Utility buttons on the top of they keyboard
Easy PnP
Small receiver

Cons: Receiver strength could be better
Mouse has no side buttons, only left and right click and wheel.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great buy for a machine you will be close to. The receiver is very small and doesn't get in the way of anything other than a USB port. The receiver will work perfectly with a HUB as well. The only problem I've had is when I plug the receiver into the back of my machine, the keyboard and mouse will randomly stop and start functioning. Plugging it up front, closer to the actual keyboard and mouse, gets rid of the problem entirely. If there is about 5 feet between you and the receiver, expect cut outs.
