This review is from: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980Ti 6GB G1 Gaming OC Edition
Pros: The card looks great! I like the programmable WINDFORCE LED for some reason...haha.
Powerful card...so the reviews say. I replaced my HIS IceQ x2 GHz Edition 7970 card for this one.
I wanted a card that would easily do 4K. I like to know I'll have enough power for anything I throw at it...should I do so.
Cons: It's big and expensive
Other Thoughts: I don't own any games that will even come close to slowing this card down. All I have are old games and I rarely play them anyway. I did get a free game of some sort that I'll have to download....Assassin's Creed?? I'm sure it's a shooting game by the name of it....yawn. I'll install it just to look at the graphics and most likely uninstall it.
My 2 year old system:
ASUS ROG Rampage IV Extreme
3930K clocked to 4.5Ghz
Gigabyte G1 Gaming Geforce GTX 980Ti
32GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series
2x Samsung SSD 256GB
Thermaltake SP-1200M 1200W Power Supply
I am a mild hobbyist that doesn't use my system to its full potential.
This review is from: OCZ Vector Series 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC VTR1-25SAT3-256G
Pros: Fast... when it's actually working.
Cons: Poor quality. I've had two to go bad within the last year.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I went slightly over-kill when I built my system especially sine I don't have any demanding games to play. However, I went with this card because it was fast in stock form and the reviews were right...it IS fast! I've never overclocked the card and I don't see any reason why I should. It plays all my games with ease.
Cons: Length of card and weight but, with a large case, that's not a problem.
Other Thoughts: Core i7-3930K Six-Core Processor @ 4.2GHz
