This review is from: APRICORN ASW-USB3-25 USB3.0 to SATA Adapter
Pros: This came with a SSD I bought from Newegg. I believe it was Crucial M sump tin 240GB
Anyways if you have multiple SSD and ever need or want to make exact back-ups than this is the easiest and most direct way to Ghost/copy over your entire drive. It's simple plug in, detect, select source drive, select destination drive, and relax.
Cons: Not made for HDD as well
Other Thoughts: Will Work on regular Hard Drives with a little tweaking:
So the reason this won't work on Regular hard drives is because there isn't enough power to spin the mechanical drive. With that being said there is a work around if you have a spare Sata Cable sitting around. I will try to Post Pictures of process when review Posts.
1. Remove Lip from one end of Sata Cable
2. Line up exposed connectors and plug Sata cable into Sata Adapter
3. Now that you have communication established simply add Power to spin the drive.
So Hard Drive is connected to Sata Adapter with the modified Sata Cable, Sata Adapter is connected to your PC through the USB 3 And Hard Drive is powered externally , I did this by temporally open PC case and use spare external Sata power connector and BAM you can now use this adapter for SSD and Regular HDD by simply tweaking a 2 dollar Sata Cable.
Pros: pending on your MOBO and setup of course.
For me I simply Installed 4x8gb for max memory of 32GB
and powered up my PC! Simple plug and play and didn't have to do anything else. Just like it should be.
Without even messing with Voltage, and or any over clocking I get a 7.8 in Windows Experience Index. Best you can do is 7.9 so I'm happy and recommend these when on sale again!
Asus Z87 Deluxe/Duel MoBo
Intel i7-4770k @3.50 GHZ
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
And OF course all Bought at Newegg
Cons: None so Far.
Other Thoughts: When these were on sale I only bought 1 set and was going to get the other set a couple days later when I got paid as Promo was still good.
When I tried to enter Promo code I was denied!! So I went to Newegg's online Chat support and they explained to me I could only use promo code once! so if I bought both sets in the same order I would have gotten full discount! So as I was writing my complaint response to the Newegg Rep, (What the F ) I just spent $150 2 days ago and you won't let me use the promo code 1 more time to complete my RAM upgrade!!!! But Before I even finished and could submit my complaint they offered me a Gift Card for the exact total the Promo code was going to save me! This is why I always buy from Newegg. Best Customer service, Fastest and cheapest Shipping. Easy RMA ect... so whether its memory, CPU or cordless drill from there market store. you know your covered by the best Customer service, bar none!
This review is from: Logitech K800 Wireless Slim Illuminated Keyboard
Pros: I bought This Keyboard on 2-23-2013, the last time it was on referb sale. I like it so much im leaving another comment.
Mine WAS BRAND NEW!! I must of got lucky because when I opened the package all the stickers were still on the keyboard. From the on switch removable sticker tab to the clear film they put on the keyboard.
There are no scratches and absolutely no signs this keyboard was ever used!
Best refurb ever! There is no doubt I got an amazing deal because I only paid $46 for a brand new keyboard that costs 100 plus.
See other thoughts should your illumination settings seem like there not saving..
Cons: NONE. WORTH EVERY BIT OF THE $46
Other Thoughts: If you have any issues with illumination settings or illumination preferences MAKE SURE you restart the PC, after driver installation, even though not prompted, and More Important, Let keyboard Fully Charge! Leave it plugged in for 24 hours. A year and counting and this Keyboard is still the best referb deal i got, and is shining and working like a champ. Def Recommend!READ FULL REVIEW
