EVGA GeForce GTX 960 DirectX 12 02G-P4-2968-RX 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support FTW ACX 2.0+ Video Card - Certified Refurbished

Pros: Makes an excellent paperweight.

Cons: QC on refurbished products 0/5. Didn't even use for 5 minutes and saw a problem. Makes for a terrible video card when you have 3 monitors and one defective displayport. All three monitors work on two GTX 980TI's in another rig. Each monitor works if tested in the two functional displayports on this card.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend if your looking for a paperweight, or a disappointing experience. I should have known better then to try and save a few bucks.

5 out of 5 eggs Solid Expander 11/17/2012

This review is from: Intel RAID Twenty-four port Expander Card RES2SV240

Pros: This expander has been working solidly in my storage server for several months helping to server up iscsi to my esxi hosts. Note as other have mentioned this doesn't have any controller capabilities. The main reason I'm writing this review is I have an Areca 1880xi and I couldn't confirm it would work with this would work with my Raid card.

I heard of people running into difficulties with some Areca cards and this expander especially if the have other expanders in the unit. In those cases their raid cards will not pick this expander up. That said, I have run into no issues.

My raid card info:
Firmware/Bootrom version: V1.51 2012-07-04

Cons: None that I can think of.
