This review is from: Nixeus NX-VUE24B 24" 1920 x 1080 AMD FreeSync 144Hz Gaming Monitor
Pros: Fast, great for gaming Includes all cables including audio and displayport. No dead pixels. It does have tilt, but you need two hands on the base and monitor attachment point. Price is very good.
Cons: The color was real yellow, but using the adjustment controls it looks pretty nice now. I don't know if that is really a con, but don't be surprised if the color appears way off when you start. The tilt is not easy to use and I think the stand could be broken if not grabbed firmly at the attachment point to the monitor and base when adjusting. Fortunately that is not something used often.
Other Thoughts: I would purchase this again and recommend it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Plug it in to a USB3 port and enjoy fast transfer speeds. Great price for it's capabilities. Very convenient.
Cons: No cons
Other Thoughts: I have been taking apart an external hard drive case and reassembling it when I needed to transfer data. Now I can just pop a drive into the tray. So much easier.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MSI AM1M AM1 AMD APU SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Excellent upgrade motherboard, does not require newer power connecters just the usual ATX 24 pin and ATX 4 pin. Very nice set of output connectors for video. Has a plug for two more USB 3 connectors for the front panel. Has a single old style keyboard/mouse connector so I can even use the old keyboard.
Cons: This is not specific to this motherboard, all the AM1 motherboards only have two SATA connectors.
Other Thoughts: My wife's 2006 computer gave up the ghost, the motherboard was bad so I went shopping and found the 5350 processor and this motherboard. The micro ATX mb fit perfectly and the power connectors plugged right in. All the Windows experience numbers came in above 6 except the desktop graphics so I plugged in a GT520 I had available and that brought that up, but also brought them memory number up to 7. I only plugged in one 4GB stick, so I guess the video card freed up some memory because the whole 4GB was now available. It is not a hardcore gaming machine, but it does all the stuff my wife needs and is power frugal too. I plan to build another based on this pair to replace and old dual atom machine my daughter has. We use a media drive so infrequently I think I'll go with a SSD and a terabyte drive for this one and use and external USB media drive that we already have.READ FULL REVIEW
