Pros: There is a fix for the poor wifi performance on 2.4 GHz. Go to the Asrock website and check out the FAQs for this model. A quick change to the adapter properties in Device Manager brought the wifi back into the expected range of performance.
Quick boot time if you add a mSATA SSD for the OS.
Cons: see prior review
Other Thoughts: Download the user manual for other details about the video. e.g., must use HDMI to install OS.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Solar recharging works well; nice not to have wires all over the car. Visor clip lets you place it closer to you for times when you need to have an extended call. Otherwise, the windshield-mounted holder works well and keeps it charged.
Cons: Sound quality is not great. Had 2 units and both died after about 18 months. Not inclined to buy again.
Other Thoughts: Looking for a better solar solution...READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock G41C-GS LGA 775 Intel G41 + ICH7 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Socket 775 for older PCs whose mainboard dies. Fast FSB and DDR 3 support.
Cons: Only 2 DIMM slots per type. Fan noise is intoerable and bios options fail to tame it. Must install the bundled OCTuner utility or SpeedFan to get the CPU fan to quiet down. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner otherwise.
Shipped with BIOS 1.20 and would often fail to retain date/time and bios settings until flashed to bios 1.40. (Battery was not the cause of this problem)
The power saving BIOS settings (1.40) are a JOKE!
Other Thoughts: More trouble than it is worth. You expect to patch Windows endlessly, but the mainboard should be good to go.READ FULL REVIEW
