GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8G Graphics Card, WINDFORCE Stack, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N208SAORUS-8GC Video Card
GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8G Graphics Card, WINDFORCE Stack, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N208SAORUS-8GC Video Card

Pros: - Best GPU RGB out there. - Great performance matching online reviews.

Cons: - Check the fans first to see if it hits/scrapes the housing. It seems like a common issue and I had to RMA the first one for this reason.

Overall Review: Overall I'm satisfied. Besides the issue of fans hitting/scraping that I had to RMA/refund, performance is great. Temperature under load gets around 70C in a mATX case, which I'm fine with as the case airflow isn't the best and I will be moving the card to a new build soon. I'm hearing pretty much no coil whine (maybe just a tiny bit which is mixed with the gpu and case fan noises) so I'm pretty happy about it.

Pretty good

LG 27EA83R-D Ocean Black 27" 5ms WQHD HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS pivot&height adjustable 350 cd/m2 5,000,000:1
LG 27EA83R-D Ocean Black 27" 5ms WQHD HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS pivot&height adjustable 350 cd/m2 5,000,000:1

Pros: Good aesthetics and great image quality

Cons: Definitely noticed some light bleeding from the bottom right corner.

Overall Review: The light bleeding on mine is noticeable, though not that very obvious. It's definitely there that you can see it when screen is blacked out. It's slightly noticeable during dark scenes. Not noticeable during bright scenes.

Quiet and lots of airflow

Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Pros: - Minimal motor noise. - Quiet and lots of air.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Noctua living up to their reputation. Great fans.

Working Great!

Dyconn Dubbler Dock (DUBDB) Aluminum Dual 2.5/3.5" USB3.0 SATA Dock and Standalone Hard Drive/ SSD Duplicator
Dyconn Dubbler Dock (DUBDB) Aluminum Dual 2.5/3.5" USB3.0 SATA Dock and Standalone Hard Drive/ SSD Duplicator

Pros: Great being USB 3.0 dock for 2 drives at the same time. Transfer speed was to spec and no disconnections so far! The 1 click harddrive cloning works well as well! Everything working as described.

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: Coming from owning a cheap USB 3.0 dock (for almost a year) with constant disconnections, I finally decided to buy one that has good reviews and "not so cheap". It turned out to be a great buy!

Great card, runs fast!

MSI Gaming N780 TF 3GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
MSI Gaming N780 TF 3GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

Pros: The only graphics intensive game I've tried is FFXIV ARR and it runs smooth with max setting at 1440p. It doesn't top 60hz all the time since the title is on dx9 engine but it's smooth enough to not feel much lag at all. Finally a card without coil whine! Temperature maxes out around 70 degrees under load, which is great in my book.

Cons: I'm having issues using display 1.2 during boot with this card, it simply doesn't boot into windows at all for some reason. It may be also related to my motherboard (asus rampage iii gene) however I didn't have this issue with an 290x. Another note is again on display port. Upon idling and having windows turning screen off. Once I come back and the display comes back, all my windows were resized to really low resolution. Again, never had this issue with 290x. note: I'm on windows 8.1

Overall Review: Overall great card!

Works well except BSOD

SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 BattleField 4 Game Edition Video Card 100361BF4SR
SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 BattleField 4 Game Edition Video Card 100361BF4SR

Pros: It runs fast and even on the default uber mode, the fan isn't that loud as what the reviews indicated... to me at least.

Cons: Runs hot, random BSOD.

Overall Review: Ended up RMA it because of the random BSOD issue I was encountering. I've tried everything including different driver versions to reinstalling windows fresh, BSOD would still happen. The most barebone setup I've done was windows + chrome + firefox + catalyst driver + league of legends. And it would still random blue screen. Everything was running solid stable with the exactly setup and drivers but on my old 5850. So I can't think of anything else but the 290x being the cause.
