Pros: The bay is reasonably well built.
I like that the key turns the fan & LCD off, extending the life of the fan. More hot swap bays which have a lock should do it that way.
Cons: Doesn't support hot swap with a Samsung 2TB EcoGreen F4 HD204UI, using a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H and Win 7-64. The 2TB drive will be recognized if I boot with it in, but not if it's hot swapped. I've tried both the Intel and the Marvell SATA ports (Intel in RAID mode, Marvell in AHCI mode). However, a 1.5TB drive does hot swap just fine.
I'm not sure why the bay would have an effect, but other internal and external bays I've tried with this drive and motherboard work fine.
This review is from: SilenX IXP-11-14 40mm Case Fan
Pros: This is the first really quite 40mm I've found. Testing on the bench in a quite lab, I had to put it within 1' of my ear to hear it at all. It can't be heard over the other fans in the computer.
Other Thoughts: It likely will get noisy as dust accumulates on the blades, but this is true of any fan.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AZiO BTD-V201 USB 2.0 Micro Bluetooth Adapter
Pros: Works well to hotsync a Treo 650 to the Palm desktop under 64-bit Windows 7. Very small.
Cons: None - I've noticed that hotsync sometimes tries to use the wrong virtual port, but that isn't the fault of the bluetooth dongle.
Other Thoughts: While bluetooth sync is slower than USB, since Palm has abandoned development of the Palm Desktop bluetooth is the only solution for a 64-bit OS.READ FULL REVIEW
