Pros: Worked perfect, board detected the XMP profile (but I am running it at 1600) I was gonna buy 1600 but this set was on sale and a little headroom is nice to have. gskill memory is the new gold standard.
Cons: yea the heatsink is tall..I use a oem style (rosewill) cooler so its not a problem to me...I dont overclock.
Other Thoughts: I was a little worried about putting all my eggs in one basket. I started to buy 2 8 gig kits so if I got a bad stick (hey it happens) I could return one set and still be running. This set worked great so I am happy.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Love Asrocks bios..love the layout of the board..cant see the advantages of the 200 buck plus boards..you can use older 775 coolers if ya want
Cons: none that I saw..it could have installed itself but thats too much to ask..
Other Thoughts: this board uses 10 mounting screws where my old one used 9 just something to take note of if your upgrading..READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Powerful, runs swtor like a champ, great upgrade from a 4870, vents heat out of the case instead of back in it.
Cons: its a little louder than the 4870 it replaced, drivers need a little work for swtor..
Other Thoughts: I really love this card and for the money its killer. The price is creaping down so I may grab another in the future for crossfire but now I dont need anymore. I cant let go of my Lian LI all aluminum case but it doesnt have massive airflow compaired to modern wind tunnels so the fact this card exhaust all the heat out the rear sold me on it.READ FULL REVIEW
