Pros: lots of options, great construction, fast boot.
Cons: very ram fussy, will not boot with xmp. wouldn't run ddr3 2400 reliably. Gigabyte's response was" set it to 1600" even though they advertise ddr 3000.. My bios went corrupt just before the warranty was up, they sent me a refurb that didn't function. Not happy. I'm a fan boy until I'm not. I loved ABIT and then changed to Gigabyte when they went under. I'm thinking I made the wrong choice. Was my 3rd board out of 5 builds and all the gigabyte bioses seem to be rushed. The ram never works right. It's always a struggle to overclock because everyone makes guides for Asus.
lastly, the uefi is absolute trash on this board. always have to switch to classic mode
Pros: Sounds great. Was an upgrade from my audigy fatal1ty. Has separate port for headphones and speakers.. nice.. no more Y connector.
Cons: Comes out of the box with an over abundance of high frequency. Once I used the eq to make it "warmer" it sounds amazing.
Bloated / unnecessary software is always Creative's issue. This one is no exception. - 1 egg off for poor software.
The volume control unit should have a button to change between headphones and speakers. Instead you have to have their software installed and toggle it there. - First world problems.
Other Thoughts: Would buy again. I wish the LED could change colors or be turned off.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast up and down. Good design that won't wear out.
Cons: Drops off a little quicker than my sandisk but this thing is huge so no worries.
Other Thoughts: Buy it.READ FULL REVIEW
