Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W BX80623I52400 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000

Pros: Small, easy to install (though that's also in part due to mobo design). Comes with a cooling fan.

Cons: Guide talked about using thermal paste, didn't have any included in installation kit. 4-Peg design for installing fan seemed to work okay but I couldn't tell if it was secure. Fan is heavy.

Other Thoughts: The CPU never ceases to amaze me. Engineers use an ingenious method to create billions of transistors on a piece of silicon the size of a penny. Incredible and well worth the money.

Pros: Love the look of it. The metal bar on top facilitates installation and removal. Quiet and powerful.

Cons: A little bulky, but still fits nicely into my case.

Other Thoughts: The packaging of this product made me feel like a secret agent opening a secret weapon or something. It had all the padding around it and was just so cozy-looking. Go double-o me!

RAIDMAX RX-850AE 850W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Easy to install, supplies a lot of power. Comes with a cool toolbox for your extra cables. Semi modular to limit cord crowding. Crossfire ready (not tested).

Cons: Cables have a lot of connections which is either a really good thing or a bad thing (if you don't need them all or their placement is off - uses a z-layout for power distributors). A bit tricky to get all my devices powered while limiting cables used but there were still plenty of cables left. Not a big enough deal to remove an entire egg.
