ASUS Z97-A/USB 3.1 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: This Motherboard was recommended by a trusted friend, so I went with it. The first one failed, but Newegg promptly sent a replacement, which is working as it should. By the way, this is a screaming fast (using i5/3.5) and very versatile board.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I like it so much, I am ordering another (for my wife's PC).

DIYPC Cuboid-B Black USB 3.0 Gaming Micro-ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/1 x 140mm LED Blue Fan x Front, 1 x120mm LED Blue Fan x rear
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: The price is certainly reasonable, and this is not a "cheapie" case. They included all the necessary hardware (and then some) to make the job easy.

Cons: It is wider than most tower cases, but it still fits in well.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to use as a "backup" dual boot box (probably for Linux most of the time)., and it works well.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

5 out of 5 eggs Just installed and it works as it should 03/26/2014

This review is from: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: Quick and easy installation (remember to disable on board sound first) into my 3-1/2 year old home built PC; driver installed from Windows Update. Additional programs on the CD work OK, too.

Cons: None yet. This is an inexpensive sound card... not expecting miracles (although Smokey Robinson sounds good through it ;) ).

Other Thoughts: Had I not experienced a problem with choppy audio from the ASUS mobo audio system, I would not have even upgraded to this. I use the PC for radio communications (Flex 6700, SmartSDR, and Digital Audio Exchange... a form of "virtual" audio line via the Ethernet cable connecting the PC and the radio), and the audio through DAX was horrible. With this sound card, it sounds great.
