Pros: Good replacement board for Acer. Works well for home use. Was able to wipe the disk and reinstall windows 7, using recovery disks, OE Product key worked so good to go.
Cons: Will not work with Acer, built in card reader slots according to Asus. " Acer motherboard has card reader slots. In order to make those slots to work, you need to connect card reader port's header with the motherboard.
I am sorry that ASUS motherboard does not have that header. So, it is not possible to make your card reader to work on this motherboard".
Getting the rebate sucks. First I said sure send me $9.00, sent all paper work. Rebate not approved. Reason address not matched. Wrong, both my billing and shipping address are on the invoice. Two more emails from Asus, telling me how to get the rebate. I am filling out the form at this time.
Other Thoughts: Overall a decent board, priced right. Fans run at high speed all the time need to check out why.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Product came within 3 days in a very secured package. This is my fourth computer from Newegg and as always they do a great job. Got this for my wife who is a nursing student and she loves the red color. I did the set up, made factory back-up disks and connected to the internet. Setup was smooth as silk. Great price, great computer.
Cons: Not to much here except speakers are just ok and all the bloatware will take a little time to remove.
Other Thoughts: Need a solid computer that really gets with it, you should consider this model.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: For at home computing this Acer is right for the job and right on the price. It is a nice system that you can jump right into. I like the speed that it offers on start up, about one minute to fully load, after that ready to work. Finale thought: when it come to service during and after the sale Newegg is on top.
Cons: Just a couple of things to watch out for. You may not be able to view all web sites, this is because you need to update the drivers. Second, if you start getting Fuel.Service.Exe errors showing up in Action Center you can disable it in SERVICES.
Other Thoughts: Overall Acer has put together a nice system for those who need a solid computer for home and small office work. I am not a gamer so no commit in this area. Finale thought, get rid of all the bloat ware.READ FULL REVIEW
