This review is from: KitchenAid KSM150PSSM Artisan Series 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer Silver Metallic
Pros: This mixer is awesome. I used my mom's for years that she got as a wedding gift in the 80's I think. Still runs and never had a problem with hers so I finally broke down and bought one of my own. Don't let the price deter you. This thing will last 5 lifespans of those awful hand mixers, is more powerful and versatile and the mounted bowl makes things much easier and cleaner than hoping ur mixing bowl doesn't go sliding off the counter when mixing something. This color is really nice, I get lots of compliments about it. Newegg shipping was super fast as always.
Cons: I do wish its lowest speed was just a tad bit slower, but that's just a personal preference.
Other Thoughts: I don't know what this other reviewer is talking about with the gift card. I got my gift card code before I even got the mixer (since I had to wait the weekend for UPS). It came in on a Sunday evening actually. I have already spent it as well... I need to stay off of this website!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I bought this baby when I got sick of dealing with the cheap modular one I had. Best decision ever. PLENTY of cables and cords, support for dual SLI with (2) native PCI-e 8 pin connectors, cables are tight, compact and tick away nicely if you have the space in your case. Also, it runs quiet. I was shocked.
Cons: If you don't have the space in your case to tuck these extra cables in somewhere, it might be a problem. I have Cosmos 1000 and the excess barely fits between the PSU and the fan on the inside base of the case. No problems with it tho.
Other Thoughts: Thought I would save some money and thought modular would be cool with the first PSU I bought for my build. BAD IDEA. Thing was dual rail (learned my lesson there), made my graphics card very unstable, didnt have a native PCI-e 8 pin connector and ran quite loud and hot. Got sick of that piece of junk and bought this baby. All my problems disappeared. Got this one in case I upgrade to i7 later, something to consider. PS - Thanks Corsair for the rebate!READ FULL REVIEW
