This review is from: SOLEUS AIR MAC-12K 12,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Portable Air Conditioner
Pros: This Unit deffinately works. It looks good, Very Nice, Easy To Use controll panel with a remote. Very low priced compaired to other brands. Has an oscilating output vent. This also has an Auto setting on the controll unit, if your hoses are conected properly you can just set it on auto and not have to worry about it
except for cleaning the filter every once in a while.
Cons: Very Large as specified [32" tall, 18" wide, 19" deep]
Very Noisy but Most A/C units are.
Weighs a ton. Very Poor Packageing. When UPS dropped this off [and literally dropped it] the box came
apart. There is no bottom to the box, just styrofoam.
If Unit would not have worked I would have had to find
an alternative packageing to ship it back in. Intake and Exaust hoses are listed as 4" but messure about 5-1/4"
The Exaust hose must be used, it produces heat about like a Clothes Dryer vent. These hoses limit where you can have this unit in your home and make it look ugly. This unit has very small casters that make it hard to roll on carpet.
Other Thoughts: This is a four-in-one unit. Heater, A/C unit, De-Humidifier & Fan All in one. Packaging should be better [at least the bottom of the box] and UPS should be a lot more carefull. Make sure the drain plug is pushed in all the way or you will have water all over the floor. Better yet connect a small hose to it [not suplied] and let it drain outside of your home.
All-in-All this is a very nice unit so far, I just hope it lasts
a few years.
This review is from: ASUS V-60 92mm Vapo Bearing CPU Cooler
Pros: Excelent cooler. As i said in an erlier review I own three of thees and all in micro cases, They work great on all
socket 775 CPU's that I have tried ranging from celerons
to Quad cores. THEY KEEP YOUR CPU COOL.
Other Thoughts: As for AndrewA review, This cooler was designed for socket 775 CPU's not for the new 1366 boards, so don't
blame the cooler, Blame the builder!
This review is from: SILVERSTONE FP33-S Controller, Panel
Pros: I needed a three fan controller that would fit in the back of my case [Aerocool M-40], this works just fine.
Cons: Cable length is a little long for a micro case but not a big issue. Controller is hot glued to a plastic case that has
two-sided tape to mount it in place. The hot glue didn't even make to the install, I had to re-glue it.
Other Thoughts: It's just what I was looking for, it works just fine and is very low cost. I read another review saying this will not shut your fans down all the way, Why would you want to? You better keep some air flowing or else!
I would deffinately buy this again if I need one.
