Pros: -144hz Refresh rate is very nice, especially for 2D gaming. -27inch screen is perfect size for me -Colors aren't as bad as you would expect from a TN panel -I suppose 3D capability is nice, though I'm not really interested in that.

Cons: -Awkwardly positioned inputs on the back make it difficult to plug things in -Backlight can seem way too bright at times -Horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE backlight bleeding around the edges, even on my SECOND unit -Discoloration on the sides of the screen, again on the SECOND unit I was sent

Overall Review: I wanted to love this monitor. I wanted to write a raving review for it. The 144hz refresh is amazing for 2D gaming. But the backlight. The backlight is the downfall of this monitor. So, when I first bought this monitor and set it up I noticed that the backlight bled around the edges. It was very bad. It was noticeable from the edge to about 1 1/2 inches in. Along with that, there were these sort of curved lines of discoloration on the left and right sides of the screen. It's hard to explain but they made everything look just a tad lighter than they should. Obviously, that is VERY annoying when watching or playing something dark. It was horribly distracting. So I decided to RMA it. On Newegg's part, I was very happy with how quickly they sent a replacement once they received my RMA though I was annoyed to have to pay for shipping. So here I am with my new unit. I was so happy that I'd finally be able to use my PC again after a week and half. I set everything up, boot up my PC and turn on my monitor. And BAM! It may as well have been the same exact one I sent back in the first place. Horrible light bleeding around the edges and those light discolored spots on the sides. I'm so frustrated. I wanted to like this monitor so badly. I just can't. I'm at my wit's end here as I am stuck with this monitor now. I'm very disappointed and very frustrated.
