Pros: Fast, very fast
Other Thoughts: Just felt I should update that I retested drive speeds as I hadn't updated my drivers when I last tested. Now my drive is testing at 550MBps sequential read and 520MBps sequential write. I've tested both the drives I bought and they are within the same results. Also tested several times. So ignore my 490 write I mentioned earlier.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Inexpensive, quick timings, heatspreaders, GSkill
Cons: None that I can think of
Other Thoughts: Been using GSKill memory for over 12 years, probably much longer, and I've only ever had to return one set way back. Using Gigabyte Z97-HD3P and the timings are automatically detected once you enable the XMP profile in the BIOS. Memtest came out clear. Guess there's a reason I always just buy GSKill and don't really bother looking around. Using for my DAW (music machine), so while I don't do high end gaming the stuff I do does indeed use a LOT of memory (large sample banks, etc).READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Noiseless, small and light, super fast, not too expensive, comes with cloning and config/testing software
Cons: Can't really think of any
Other Thoughts: First time moving to SSD drives and bought two of these for use in my DAW (music computer). My Windows is highly tweaked but I timed boot into Windows with a stop watch from the second I see the BIOS screen and my boot up time is 8.46 seconds! And that's to in Windows and working - ie. no spinning "wait" cursor. Faaaast! Used the Samsung software only to test speeds, I have no special speed tweaks to the drive whatsoever. My sequential read was 549MBps and sequential write was 490MBps. I'm very happy with these drives. Hopefully that last long too.READ FULL REVIEW
