Thermaltake V9 BlacX Edition Gaming Chassis Mid Tower Steel Computer Case BlacX Top Mounted Dual HDD Docking Stations VM400M1W2Z

Pros: A great looking case with the perfect compliment of fans. Has a good weight and a solid feel.

Cons: The USB 3 ports on the top hook up with a cable that plugs into the back of your motherboard instead of the on board USB 3 slot. A rather strange setup. Also no extra PCI slots.

Other Thoughts: For the PCI tabs pick up a pack of these.

It'll be worth it when you accidentally break off the wrong tab.

Silverstone AEROSLOTS-BP Maximum Vented PCI Slot Covers - Black Painted Finishing

  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: High quality construction. Nice black finish.

Cons: Really are kind of expensive. Not to mention 4 is a strange number. Seems most cases have 7 or 8 slots. If you're running a 2 slot video card that means you need 5 or 6. Really it should have at least 6 for this price.

Other Thoughts: It's unfortunate that some cases don't come with extras anymore.

Crucial RealSSD C300 2.5

  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: A really fast drive. It felt that I installed Windows as fast as it took to reboot the machine.

Cons: Still expensive for the size. You're probably going to still want a larger magnetic drive.

Other Thoughts: I find the 2.5" form factor annoying. They still don't fit in standard ATX cases and I'm sure very few people buy these things to slam them into laptops. Although I'll consider this a personal opinion.
