Pros: - Quiet operation while playing games.
- Clocks out of the box faster than spec.
- Stays pretty chilly
- Everything runs at Ultra
Cons: - As some people say, the colors are kinda hard to configure right, espc. if you're looking for a specific hue, thankfully my entire case is red, so the card is red and it does the job.
- The colors kinda light leaks out the side. Would have been nice for them to cover that up, but considering the cooler, makes sense why.
- Not really a con, but don't download the EVGA software off of steam, it's not quite the same as the suite from the website.
Other Thoughts: Went from a 770 to a 1070. Night and day difference, highly recommend this card for anyone upgrading or a new build. Eventually I'll throw another one in here for some extra power.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is just an H55 cooler with the Intel parts only re-branded as a 'new' H50.
Cons: Newegg really needs to display the box to ensure we're not getting the classic H55. The pictures displayed are accurate, but it didn't help with my anxiety.
Other Thoughts: Because I was worried it was the old-style H50 pump, I ended up purchasing an H55 immediately after I purchased this one. When they both got here, both coolers looked exactly the same, just rebranded. I returned the H50 and used the H55- but I'm sure my performance results would have been the same with this 'H50'READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cool looking PCB
Everything pretty much works out of the box
EFI/BIOS is clean and easy to work with
Pretty much has all the same features as my MSI Z97 minus overclocking.
Cons: The realtek audio is just as strange as it is on my MSI Z97, you have to install the realtek audio manager from MSI's website for it not to cut out. However, it's not a big deal IMHO.
Other Thoughts: I built an i5 rig for my girlfriend, she wanted to have decent power to do work and play WoW/Overwatch/XIV. She had no need or want for SLI or overclocking so this was the perfect choice.READ FULL REVIEW
