Satisfied First Time Builder, Has everything a Computer needs

MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Built-in WiFi and other accessories (Bluetooth, etc.) very useful. Have yet to setup my Ethernet cord. If you are used to buying laptops or pre-built computers laptop this board has just about everything a laptop would have. No extra adapters or Usb dongles needed. - Instructions manual very well detailed and helped greatly with installation (with pictures and chronological instructions) - Has everything I need in terms of ports - All connectors, holes in reasonable places, nothing out of place in terms of internal wiring - LED Lights subtle enough to not be annoying (they're on the back of the board, so a case with 1 open side like mine provides a nice glow but not a blinding light) - Nice box. Currently houses all leftover parts, manuals, screws, etc. from after building the computer. - MSI website makes it very easy to install all necessary drivers.

Cons: - Hard to choose which model to get when there are so many - Pins for installing the processor were very slightly bent, making it difficult to snap the processor in as it pushed quite hard on the processor. In the end it worked but I had to push a bit harder than I'd have liked to to snap the processor in (you know the, am-I-being-too-careful or am-I-going-to-break-it feeling). Other than this installation was very easy. - Less than aesthetic back panel (black with red symbols, hard to see and read the names/icons of ports)

Overall Review: - Why did I chose this model over the others? The built-in WiFi sounded very attractive so I knew I was going to pick an AC model. While I initially planned on eventually using an Ethernet cord it is still very convenient to have the WiFi available (LAN parties, moving across the house, etc.); however, the WiFi has been strong enough that I have yet to find a real need to dig out the 200 foot cord needed to reach my router from the upstairs (I'm directly above my router in my house, about 30 feet through a floor). It was hard to decide which model to choose, as each had about 15 buzzwords associated with them, many overlapping. In the end this one was on sale (about 20 dollars off), and had everything I needed in terms or ports, compatibility with my processor. Because I am a first time builder I was not fully aware of all the minor differences between models, but I am fully satisfied after choosing this one. - Would I recommend this to other builders? Yes, big yes. Even though I have not personally seen the difference with this model and all the others I am personally satisfied enough that I am not worried about it. - How good is the on-board WiFi? I have mentioned the WiFi a few times. At one point my connection was slower than desired. After updating my WiFi drivers (at the time of this review to the INTEL drivers available on MSI's website from 3/20/2019) everything was much better and I have yet to experience slowdown since. I hope this remains the way because this was a major selling point for me.
