Works great with Linux
Pros: Fast, Stable, functional bios. Lots of sensors *(check psensor). Good fan controls. Has a nifty little mini-pcie slot for wifi someday. Came with C2 stepping of the chipset. ALC1150 not that you can really tell the difference. I've been really happy with this board. Boot to bios directkey is a nifty feature.
Cons: No unexpected cons.
Overall Review: Works great with Linux. I'm currently running Ubuntu 12.04.3 with the 3.8 kernel, and it works great. The same could not be said for the gigabyte z87x-ud3h that this replaced. The gigabyte board would hang/crash, and generally not function.
Ticking noise
Pros: Turns off the fan when not using much power.
Cons: There is a well documented problem google "tx650 ticking", where when the fan is off, but near the limit where it needs to turn on this PSU, emits a loud ticking. This ticking is loud enough that it was louder than any fan in my machine. It's incredibly irritating, and it's causing me to return this.
I really wanted to like this case
Pros: - Compact
Cons: - Only 2 of the 4 screw holes on my 3.5" drives line up with the screw holes on the mounting points. This is because my drives lack the middle screw holes. (See Picture). Make sure to check your drives before purchasing. It shouldn't be hard for raijintek to simply add a few more mounting holes.
Overall Review: - I would definitely recommend this if you have drives that line up with their mounting patterns. It's as small as you can get before having to move to itx.
Does what I wanted.
Pros: -Lightweight -Wireless with multipoint connections, meaning I can connect to my PC, home phone, and cell-phone all at the same time. -When using the wired audio the mic still works -Fantastic mic. Both from a recorded audio perspective, and from the fact that it swings out of the way. - Range is better than the tactic3d, and bluetooth range is even better.
Cons: - Slight hiss when no audio is coming through. This is supremely annoying, and I don't understand why they couldn't figure this out. The tactic3d's I tested had this same issue though. - I'm constantly accidently pressing the tone and drc buttons. These "features" are wasted on me, and I don't feel as though they should have been integrated on the headset. Most people set these how they like them, and then forget them. - Drivers could have more range and volume.
Overall Review: I compared these to the "Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless USB Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset". That headset was overly huge, and cumbersome, also it didn't work with bluetooth. The Tactic3d was also very tight on my head.
Love it
Pros: Absolutely love it. The screen is fantastic. I moved from cyanogen on a touchpad to this, and am amazed at how much faster it is. I do miss the screen size from the touchpad though.
Cons: none
Overall Review: slimport adapter not mhl, be careful when buying an hdml adapter.
Never had a problem
Pros: I just bought my third one of these switches. I absolutely love them. My oldest one I've had for about 4 years now, and it's still going strong. It's been so long I don't really have a clue when I bought it.
Cons: none, buy it.
