Pros: It was running great for a year. It was pretty fast for this level of a PC and seemed sturdy enough.
Cons: The first problem was that it arrived with a broken DVD eject button. Instead of replacing the entire laptop for a broken button, we just kept it. It still ejected via the OS.
It completely died at 13.5 months (just after the warranty ran out). It is not getting any power at all. I tried another Asus power adapter and got nothing at all. Tried unplugging the battery, nothing. There are no lights or indication of power to be seen anywhere. I have NEVER had a laptop die this completely before.
Other Thoughts: I have always been happy with Asus products in the past. I hope this was a fluke and not a trend for Asus.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Overall I am pleased with this case so far.
-Seems sturdy enough
-Small size with removable drive bay which helps greatly with installation.
Cons: -80mm fan stopped working after about a week. Seems to be bad wiring as it did come back on at one point when I plugged it back in after removing it. Thankfully, I had a few extra 80mm's laying around
-The motherboard tray was slightly bowed but my micro-atx board went in just fine.
-The 300W power supply is non-standard size and will be hard to replace.
-Only has 2 Sata power plugs and 1 four pin molex connector. So I had to use a molex-sata adapter cable but that is a pretty simple fix.
-It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to get a DVD drive and 2 hard disks into the drive bay.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an inexpensive case which does not take up too much room this is a good choice. However, it is quite long. This would only work for an HTPC case if you have a nice long cabinet to place it on. I am using it for a server and have it on the floor under my desk so that is not a problem (doubles as a nice foot rest).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Kensington Orbit K72337 Black Wired Optical Trackball
Pros: I have been using this for about 2 months now and I really like it. The scroll ring is great. You can really spin that thing to scroll a long way if you need to.
Is much more comfortable than thumb trackballs. My thumb gives me problems with those.
Cons: If I use the scroll ring for a long time without a break, my fingers do get a little stiff.
The scrolling seems to jump occasionally after using the wheel. Kind of like it got stuck just prior to the next sensor reading and any slight movement picks up a scroll event.
Other Thoughts: I like this so much I am about to replace my Logitech Marble w/one of these at home.READ FULL REVIEW
