Seasonic FOCUS GX-850, 850W 80+ Gold, Full-Modular, ATX Form Factor, Low Noise, Premium Japanese Capacitor, 10 Year Warranty, Nvidia RTX 30/40 Super, AMD GPU Compatible, Ref# SSR-850FX

Pros: Fully modular, rounded sleeved cables, you will only use what you need. No clutter even for a small case. Solid review rating score of 9.8 from jonnyguru.com. Apparently, Seasonic makes their PSU unlike others that are white label so you know you're dealing with one company and not some unknown that probably builds PSU's for other companies. I'm not disqualifying the rest but I like to know that the company that puts its name on a product is the actual manufacturer. So far this product is and seems great. At 1st I worried that I got a DOA but Seasonic includes a jumper plug that you could use to test the PSU which I think was awesome and saved me the hassle of troubleshooting. This christmas I build a new system for my son and once completed there was no power to motherboard, not even an led would light up. So at 1st I thought it was the PSU so I took it all apart and was going to RMA it. Naturally, no power means bad PSU but once I looked again at what was included with the product along the cable ties and velcro ties I noticed the jumper plug. I was going to make my own from a paper clip, lol. So anyway plugged that i and turned on the power and it came alive. So you get a good product with enough cable ties to finish your build. I wish the other manufacturer for my other build had included them, also i have a lot of left over cables so you get what you pay for and quality.

Cons: My only suggestion is the rounded cable to the MOBO is a bit thick and to the CPU not really a con but for a small case it made putting the back case cover a challenge and cable routing. One thing I recommend to Seasonic is to give the option to buy with either rounded or flat cables. Again not a con but a suggestion

Overall Review: I gave Newegg a good review as well since this company deserves it and their customer service is US based from what I can tell. Please don't sell out to India and keep it at home. Here's my review at resellerratings.com Newegg gets 5 starts no less. I cannot recommend this online seller enough. For this holiday season, I ordered computer parts for a new build. I was worried about buying the parts too soon so not to have to take a chance on delivery. Newegg puts out a holiday policy giving us shoppers 60 days to return items. Who does that? only Newegg. Today 12/20/2018 I was having 2nd thoughts about a PSU after reading some reviews on it. I decided I'm not going to take a chance with that particular Power Supply. I called Newegg Customer Service, Darryl answers and was very pleasant. Explained to him my dilemma and that it's a build for christmas. He issued me an RMA with return label for the unopened PSU, I told him which new PSU I wanted the Seasonic 850W. He placed the order for me and rush shipping. I cannot believe an hour later I receive shipping confirmation that it was shipped and should receive before the weekend. This 12/20/2018 mind you, one business day left before the weekend and 2 business days before Christmas. Who does that? Newegg!!! I never shop anywhere else for computer parts. P.S. He also waved the shipping cost. Who does that? Newegg!!!"

Pros: It's fast when it works. Boots in about 6 seconds.

Cons: Bought it on 11/26/2018 for a new christmas build for my son. I bought it early to make sure I have all the parts on time for Christmas. Built it on christmas day 12/25/2018. Installed win 10 pro, no issues. 12/26/2018 started getting orange screen on cold boot after the windows logo appears. CTRL ALT DEL to restart then Disk Read Error. Power off, wait 3 seconds, power on, windows loads. Works for a few days no problem. Then again sporadically orange screen on cold boot. Go through the process of power off and power on, again Disk Read Error. Repeat. Drive is not reliable and now I'm passed the NewEgg replacement warranty so I have to RMA with ADATA. I don't have another drive to try and my son will be down a few weeks until I get a replacement from ADATA.

Overall Review: I understand it's hardware and things happen. Frustrating part is I started doubting the build and my son is disappointed with his new computer that I spend close to 2k on parts. Only to be plagued by a sporadic HDD problem. If it were mechanical it would have been much simpler to diagnose but the fact that it works on and off makes it much less desirable as you start thinking it's motherboard, memory, video card or even power supply. But reading other reviews, I know it's a HDD problem. I have contacted ADATA and haven't heard back. Going through their RMA form online is painful. Now what? Never buy this product, listen to all these reviewers and stay away from it. It doesn't even deserve 1 egg.

Pros: Great looks and features Refresh rate over clockable to 165Hz It's ROG and matches my board and graphics card

Cons: Dead pixels 3 out of the box. color bleed on all 4 corners, i thought that shouldn't happen with an TN screen.

Overall Review: Buy at your own risk, after all the reviews I've read I expected not to be disappointed. I'll be calling NewEgg for an RMA and look for another monitor. I spent $669, if it were $199 I wouldn't be complaining. Knocked out 3 eggs for quality control.
