This review is from: Roku Roku 2 Streaming Player - NEW
Pros: Easy to install and works for most services like CBS All Access
Cons: The ROKU folks and TWC/Spectrum and engaged in a contest to see who provides the worst service. The ROKU 2 lately has been doing partial resets, incomplete updates, engaging complete parental locks, refusing access to channels, and other system burps resulting in not being able to connect with TWC/Spectrum. TWC/Spectrum is blaming the ROKU programming and ROKU is playing the mushroom on the log.
Other Thoughts: As long as you don't have any great expectations about watching the TWC/Spectrum programming, the unit works great. As to expecting ROKU and TWC/Spectrum to get their act together, dream on!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good value for the price. Installing 2 of these cards and activating the Crossfire X feature in the ATI Catalyst software gives you an inexpensive Crossfire solution via software. Smooth transitions and no more hangs while video editing.
Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Other Thoughts: There are other drivers such as HDMI audio drivers for your previous video card lurking about that need to be found which may not get removed when uninstalling your old video driver package.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: None that I can see after 3 Zotac video cards failing in a row with less than 7 days running time on each. Reprehensible quality control and customer service.
Cons: After causing several video related BSOD's it finally crashed the system and which had to a restored from a point previous to the installation of their drivers because their drivers would not uninstall. .
Other Thoughts: requested an RMA 4 days ago and Zotac has responded by not responding to my RMA request and blowing ands by refusing me access to my Zotac Account dashboard. BTW, these card are manufactured by PC Partner (Dongguan) Limited (PRC) for the PC Partner Group Limited (Hong Kong) who. according to a web page that I read, was highly instrumental in setting up and financing Zotac USA and Europe.READ FULL REVIEW
