Pros: Epic. Im glad I shelled out the few extra bucks for this pci express 3.0 version. bios has more than enough clocking features to excite any gamer. Looks awesome...comes with 4 sata cables and stays very cool in my case.
Cons: No real cons has everything anyone should need for the highest performace amd fx series builds.
Overall Review: if your an amd cpu fan like me i would definitely recommend this motherboard for your amd build. even though most reviews say pci express 3.0 does not make much of a difference..it still has gains which most of us appreciate.
Its a cable
Pros: well its a cable, it fit my screen well and is definitely not a bulky plug like some are. for the price this is definitely a great cord...they are all basically the same thing...dont be tricked into buying a 100 dollar cable that will do exactly the same thing as this...except it will look slightly fancier
Cons: wish the connectors were black instead of gray...but honestly thats not something worth docking an egg...most likely you will never see your cable anyways.
Overall Review: get this dont spend 40 dollars or more at a big box store for the same thing in a fancier package. Rosewill always does well.
It works well
Pros: Well just like most people are saying you do need aftermarket software in order to let this read most if not all blu ray movies...i dont burn dvds or blu rays so that i cant tell you anything about. seems to read dvd movies and other software very quick though, on a sata3 motherboard.
Cons: just wish people didnt have to spend more money on blu ray software to use their blu ray player...great marketing scheme but sucks for the buyers like us.
Overall Review: i got this at 39.99 here and would definitely buy them anytime i needed them at this price.
Good stuff
Pros: Great ram for the price. I already have two 8 gig sticks of this stuff i purchased from somewhere else to upgrade my pc then recently built a new one and bought two 8 gig sticks to make 32 gigs...this stuff is great...runs well and can be overclocked.
Cons: unfortunately i was noobish and forgot windows 7 home premium only supports up to 16 gigs so now i have to go buy windows 7 ultimate in order to support the 32 gigs i have. I was always led to believe 64bit could support much more...but thats where i noobed up.
Overall Review: 1600mhz is still high end gaming ram...most motherboards seem to like 1600mhz-1866 mhz ram the best. if you want to super future proof go higher mhz but this stuff will do you justice for a very long time.
Wow!
Pros: Well I used to use this stuff all the time, then i purchased a corsair h80i water cooler and just used the thermal paste that came with on it already...now it still ran cool but when i purchased a new amd fx 8350 i obviously needed new thermal paste. I was shocked to find out that it definitely keeps things cooler. my amd 965 black edition was running around 85 to 90 degrees with the stock thermal paste on the h80i now the amd fx 8350 runs at below 80 degrees with this paste. even overclocked at 4.55. I have much more room for overclocking...I used the pea size method and let the heatsink spread it out.
Cons: no cons whatsoever
Overall Review: contemplated getting the antec 7 nano diamond but had mixed reviews...antec 5 is tried and true for half the price.
Ah man :(
Pros: I rated it 5 eggs for one reason...it will definitely help keep your ram cooler if it fits. I have a sabertooth 990fx/gen3 r2.0 and the heatsink on the motherboard is too close to the ram clips for it to actually clip in place...now i have a dremel and with a little sanding down i think it will work.
Cons: my con is stated above but if your northbridge heatsink is atleast a half inch away from the ram clips your gonna be just fine...and glad you purchased this.
Overall Review: it is a taller fan unit for people who use the larger ram sticks with big heatspreaders...i use 32 gigs of patriot viper 1600mhz ram and its relatively smaller. so when i get it to fit it will sit a little high but still do exactly what its meant to.
