SYBA SI-PEX40108 4 Port SATA III PCI-e 2.0 x1 Card

  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

4 out of 5 eggs PnP 11/30/2016

This review is from: SYBA SI-PEX40108 4 Port SATA III PCI-e 2.0 x1 Card

Pros: Pop it in and it works.

Cons: A little difficult on an older mobo for selecting it as a boot drive.

Other Thoughts: I put it in an M5A78L M LX Plus by it's' self, fired up the blank pc installed win 10 64 to it it read and installed fine. Next plugged a regular 500GB hdd into the mobo sata and it took some time to get things in order part of it was is the controller is read as removable storage and the ssd that was plugged into the controller was is also read as its' on entity.

Anyway it's all working as it should now as in syba controller with ssd plugged into it boots 1st and mobo hdd works plugged into the mobo. I suppose like my other syba 2x sataIII port card if I was using the 4 port card for straight storage drives it all would've went easier.
