Pros: So far runs every game perfectly. Can't wait to try COD: BO3 on it. It is also a lot quieter than the GTX465 I had in the old system.
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: I wish people wouldn't leave 1 egg reviews for a DOA. Hate to say it, but DOAs happen from time to time. If it happens over and over with the same product, then there is a problem and a bad review is warranted.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Had everything I needed on a Z170 board and didn't break the bank. Easy to install and once I figured out the BIOS, easy to get everything setup. Not running SLI at this time so that was not an issue for me.
Cons: Took me a while to configure the BIOS so it would boot. Been a while since I had built a new PC so got hit by a bit of a learning curve. Also, the front panel USB 3.0 cable will not stay attached to the motherboard. I don't know if the problem though is the cable, or the connector on the board. As long as I don't have to open the case and move stuff around, it is fine; but will come loose if the cable is bumped. Neither issue is a reason to knock of an egg.
Other Thoughts: My previous build had an EVGA motherboard for over 7 years and never had any issue. I would stick with EVGA for my motherboard and other components as long as they continue to produce a good quality product.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Not as expensive as the other pure sine wave UPS from either Tripp Lite or APC.
Cons: Fan sounded like a jet engine, even at zero load and full battery charge. Manual says the fan should only be spinning up when the battery is charging, under heavy load, or running on the battery. Tripp Lite tech support told me the fan running at full power was normal. Ordered via my employer so a potential RMA would be easy, just in case. Sending it back and getting another APC, should never have switched. I do not want to hear a fan so loud it drowns out everything in the room.
Other Thoughts: I tried to leave a review on Tripp Lite's website, but they filter "APC" as "profanity."READ FULL REVIEW
