Awesome inexpensive CPU
Pros: PRICE! It's a incredibly fast 6-core cpu for the price. No other comes closer in this price range.
Cons: Standard CPU Cooler. All aluminum with no copper core. It's a lightweight compared to a quality aftermarket cooler.
Overall Review: I upgraded from a Intel Q6600. This is a HUGE improvement in performance, especially with games. Granted, it's no i7, but it not $300 either. For the price of this cpu, new am3+ motherboard, and new DDR3 memory, it would have cost me a single Intel cpu only. Definately a cpu for the budget conscious.
Range is HORRIBLE
Pros: Very inexpensive. Nice tactile feel for the keys. Very responsive mouse.
Cons: The range is horrible. With brand new batteries, I get a max of 4 feet. The receiver is unobstructed, in my living room, and the range is 4 feet max.
Overall Review: If range is not a problem, and you just want wires out of the way with a wireless set, then this is it for the price. If you plan on using it in your living room, sitting on the couch, look else where.
Works great with AMD
Pros: I like the color. I got it on sale. It clocks correctly on my motherboard (ASRock 970) w/ FX-6300 CPU. No tweaking required. Runs STABLE! No weird memory dumps or blue screens at all (Windows 7 x64). Low height. Ram has gotten ridiculous with humongously tall heatsinks.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: I plan on buying another set to bring me up to 16GB on my system. Not dissapointed at all with this purchase.
It works!
Pros: It's somewhat low-profile. Fits perfectly in a micro-atx case where a taller cooler would not fit. It's QUIET. Copper core
Cons: None that I could find.
It works great!
Pros: It heats up food fast, and tastes better than nuking food in a microwave oven. It's less work than using a full-size oven for small meals for 1 to 2 people. Steaks, salmon, hot dogs, baked fries!
Cons: NO LID HOLDER?! I have a small kitchen so finding a safe place to put the hot lid is trouble some. Analog timer is not very accurate. I just set the timer for more time than I need and use a digital kitchen timer. I knock off 1 egg for no lid.
Overall Review: It's wonderful for small meals. It cooks fish fillets wonderfully. For steaks (3/4" thick), use a dry rub (or just favorite spices) and some oil. Let the steak come up to near room temp before cooking. Sear it on a cast iron (high temp), each side for 1 minute. Put it in the convention oven on the highest temp on the top rack. Set it for 5 minutes for rare. Longer if you like it more well done. Tender and juicy
Awesome little remote
Pros: Works flawlessly out of the box. Button features are really thought out. Going into menus and sub-menus is a breeze. It makes using Windows 7 Media Center more enjoyable than with a traditional keyboard & mouse. Includes batteries!
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: It's smaller than I thought, but I'm liking it. Running Media Center on Windows 7 64bit. I absolutely LOVE this remote.
