Replacement Touch screen Glass Digitizer for iPhone 4G + 8 Piece Tool Kit

1 out of 5 eggs Item Poorly Described 11/24/2012

This review is from: Replacement Touch screen Glass Digitizer for iPhone 4G + 8 Piece Tool Kit

Pros: It is as described, glass only.

Cons: What is NOT explained is for the iphone 4, the LCD and GLASS are a pre-assembled pre-laminated unit.Item is NOT a suitable replacement glass for iphone 4 unless you can peel the LCD off of the glass with no damages. good luck with that.

Other Thoughts: Wish I read the other review instead of relying on the Newegg part search/description.

LG ST600 Smart TV Upgrader with Web Browsing

1 out of 5 eggs LG Web is Awful 10/01/2012

This review is from: LG ST600 Smart TV Upgrader with Web Browsing

Pros: Offers subscription based streaming content

Cons: Does not support FLASH type web content which is 99% of web video. The YouTube content is NOT YouTube domain, it is through LG portal so you can't login to your youtube account.

XION Solaris XON-403 Black with Green LED Light Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Price included reasonable PSU w/420W with ample leads for nonSLI low tech box. Clean look out front, lights add nice afterglow. Cables are plenty long enough.
Good airflow lowered temps about 5deg over OEM case.
DVD/CD spring loaded doors work just fine.

Cons: A carpenter measures twice and cuts once. Look before you leap getting all excited about putting it together without looking ahead.
Install optical drives first from the front. Then mobo.
Install HD/Floppy before video cards.
It would be interesting trying to install/add memory sticks after all put together.

Other Thoughts: Hard to understand how so many people with the brains to put a PC together struggle to see how pieces fit ahead of time (or don't).
I wish there was a way to clean up the look for the power lead to the side panel fan. I might pop in a couple clips to keep wires tied down.
I staggered HD to allow airflow above and below each.
I reversed side panel fan to blow in like the other reviewer suggested.
