Pros: First impressions of the laptop itself were great. Verdict is still out as I had to return it for something that was more annoying than anything else, but compared to my Alienware M17, out of the box it looked, felt and initially performed like I hoped.

Cons: Shortly after powering it on and installing a few items, the built in sub-woofer started to make a loud sound like a metronome. Great if you're trying to learn to play the piano but super annoying for everything else. Definitely seemed like a hardware issue, a thought confirmed by Asus support, after checking BIOS and drivers so waiting on a replacement. Likely a connection was loosened during shipment or perhaps defective from the get go. Now Newegg customer service gets a chance to show their value.

Overall Review: If customer service does me right, I will update this review accordingly. Just looking for what I paid for. A little annoyed that I had to pay for the shipping to send it back, but maybe that gets credited later.
