HP Desktop PC DC5800/DC-2.5/W7P64 Dual Core 2.5GHz 4GB 160 GB HDD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Pros: I was thinking about building a new budget office machine to save some money. After all the components added up the price was reasonable. However, when it came time to purchase operating system, it was too expensive. This machine comes with a 139.00 dollar copy of windows 7 pro. So basically the computer is free. Great deal and great performance for workstation and pandora player at my dental office.

Cons: a little banged up but who cares. No one sees it.

Other Thoughts: These refurbished computers are a great deal when you consider the high costs of windows 7 pro.

HP Desktop PC DC7900 DC7900 Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz 3.0 GHz 2GB 160 GB HDD Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Somewhat fast after installing SSD

Cons: Wrong product received. CPU was only 2.5GHz. I paid for 3.0. Too much hassle to return. Very disappointed. It is a big difference in speed.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you check the specifications of your product. I did not receive a 64 bit windows version dvd like other reviewers did.

Seagate 1TB Expansion Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 Model STBX1000101 Black

Pros: Looks sleek. came with Usb3 cable

Cons: Case looks good but made of cheap plastic. drive is already having problems being recognized by windows 7at start. I have to unplug it then plug it back in. I have an identical drive with 750gbs that does the same thing. it was fine for the first few days. I have reservations about putting anything important on them. I just use them for steam games. Hope they last.

Other Thoughts: I would spend a little more and go with a better product especially if you are going to use it for sensitive data.
