Pros: - 8GBs of RAM
- 1.5TB HDD
- Windows 7 Professional
With its $300 it's a great starting point for upgrades. This rig along with +$100. This is a great start if someone is looking to buy a tower and upgrading it over time.
Cons: The computer has arbitrarily shut-off at times. Whether it is my OptiPlex in particular/if not a stock PSU problem we are going to replace it and see if it solves a problem.
Other Thoughts: Personally I think upgrading a stock computer is a better choice then completely building one on your own. You learn just as much (if done right) and save yourself ALOT of time making it more efficient.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great performance for the price! Probably one of the best Quad-core CPUs in the market for the price.
Cons: Comes with a horrible heatsink fan. Using another type voids the warranty, though you should be able to just use the one you are currently using.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill CHALLENGER - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Three Included Fans - 1 x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1 x Top 140mm Fan, 1 x Rear 120mm Fan - Two More Optional Side 120mm Fans Supported
Pros: Great case. Transferred my slim line PC to this bad boy to allow upgrades. Cunning black design. Nice blue LED in the front. Pretty easy placing HDD + disk drive etc - place and slide back in. I'd recommend looking it up in Youtube. There's a video that shows someone building a computer using this case.
Cons: Cable management isn't the best (it's a matter of organization more than anything anyways).
Other Thoughts: Great case! I'd recommend it, fits any ATX MB.READ FULL REVIEW
