Finally!
Pros: Full sized keys on a nice thin shrunken board. Decent feeling while typing. Best is that it has a nice sized touchpad that responds well. You also can turn off double tapping which the other keyboards couldnt. Awesome range with no interference problems which I have suffered with like 4 other htpc type keyboards.
Cons: None really. Would be kind of nice to have rechargeable batteries but no worries. Also haven't had it long enough, but it doesn't have a sleep function to save battery life although it says batteries last a year...
Overall Review: Amazing htpc keyboard for the coffee table.
Dead in less than a year
Pros: Nothing at all. Just buy a WD Black for the same junk product at half the price
Cons: Lol, this is the flagship drive and it doesn't even last 1 year under LOW stress. I maybe used this drive twice a week on my HTPC as a secondary drive; so even then it barely was used with the computer on... As far as the numerous complaints about WD going down the toilet in HDD quality, well, Wiki is your friend. They shut down their manufacturing plants in Japan to phase out HDD and only have a factory in Thailand... They clearly aren't interested in HDD anymore.
Overall Review: WD has taken a nose dive in quality. I used to love these drives and would (and have still never) bought a different brand. Being I have had 3 drive failures this year, I will never buy another. The warranty registration page is riddled with bugs making it incredibly annoying. Then of course you have the online support chat that says I have zero time left to wait but am 10th in the queue.
Terrible
Pros: Design. Key layout is good. Has an actual touchpad to use instead of trackball or button nonsense for a mouse. Has a laser pointer to keep your pets busy while you are watching a movie. Customer service is decent. They will send you a new keyboard without a question. Unfortunately you will have the same issues with them and they don't offer any solutions.
Cons: I own 3. I have also tried replacing them twice and had the same issues. As most people say, the range is horrendous. Maybe 6' when you angle is just right. Keys are intermittent even 1' away. Has a nasty habit of repeating key presses infinitely. According to visiontek, they seem to be having problems with cell phone owners. So if you live in 1802, this may be the product for you... Even tested them at a friend's home a couple miles away. Same issues. One of the boards changes frequency everytime it goes into sleep mode so I have to reset it everytime by holding two keys down and waiting 10 seconds. They really should have tested this thing in an environment with other electronics before unleashing it upon the unsuspecting.
Overall Review: Wish I would have read the reviews and heeded everyone's warning about the range. Take my advice and keep your range from this product.
